Week 7

Hey mom,
Thanks a lot for that spiritual message it was pretty awesome. It is true though, things out here can be pretty hard at times. This week me and my companion didn´t get the numbers we wanted.. again. Plus, many of the pèople we have been teaching and are close to baptism weren´t home this week. Lastly one boy who is eight years old was supposed to be baptized this past Sunday but he refused 3 days before hand. That sucked. We still manage to get him to church and hope that he will be willing to be baptized this Saturday. The last hard thing about this week is the fact that I got sick. It happened this past Tuesday. I woke up around 2:30 an threw up. Than another time at 5:30. Finally I had major diarrhea. This sucked because it was so bad that I could barely leave the house….plus I pooped my pants while I was sleeping. I mean who poops this pants will they are sleeping. Oh I almost forgot , I also had the amazing opportunity to teach J-dubs this week. They were excepting of almost all our message until we got into a fun conversation on whether or not Jesus christ was Jehovah. Needless to say they were very stubborn and didn´t want to listen after that. The man we were teach kept telling us to show him a scripture that said Jesus was Jehovah and then saying that we couldn´t because there weren´t any. haha fun guy.
Funny and crazy things that happened this week:
This week me and my companion had an awesome time talking to two drunk guys(not at the same time though). The first randomly walked up to us will we were walking and then we left a few minutes later because we couldn´t understand him. The second was in the middle of the street simply sitting down. He was bike taxi driver, so his bike was next to him. we first tried talking to him to get out of the road, but he wouldn´t listen. Entonces, my companion asked me to move his bike. So I did. The man got up really fast with his hands raised. I thought that he was going to punch me, but he didn´t just started mumbling in spanish. So we left him to and continued on. Some pretty weird people here if I do say so myself. Also that same day we had a little that started following us for no reason. He followed us for about an hour until we give a cookie and ran off. We named him Elder Blanco because of his white hair and my last name. Pretty funny day.
Anyway,

it has been great hearing from all of you and hope you have a great general conference. We will be watching it at our local stake center in spanish haha. Love all of you very much, talk to you next week.
For mom:
Hey mom that picture that you saw was of an investigator. She was the same one that walked into our church building two weeks ago and continued to come this week.  We took her to the temple after church yesterday and she is probably the best investigator we have right now. She has been going through a hard time recently in her home with her husband who is an inactive. She really enjoyed the temple and I had the opportunity to pay to get her there. So really mom you payed to get her their. Entonces, your work is paying off because it’s helping me get people to places they need to be. Thank you a bunch for that work mom. Love you tons.
