Wow week 10 has come and gone. In two more I will have 3 months on the mission! that’s 1/8 of a mission….weird. haha anyway I really do love it. That’s not saying it isn´t hard and that every day I feel like falling on my face and sleeping. Or possibly screaming my head off because its past 7:00 and my spanish mind has completely died. Haha but really its been good. We don´t have very many investigators right now. Plus the few that we do have are a little hard to teach. At anyway rate we hope for a baptism before this month is out.
To be honest not much has happened this week. We had a lot of meetings and talked to a lot of people. We had few more borrachos come talk to us which of course was great. After all if I could baptize every drunk person I meet I could establish a new ward here in no time.
Also I learned this week that I really don´t like to eat cactus. Its slimy and has a really odd flavor. I did learn that I like basically soup they have here. So far. this could change.
Oh yeah I have a really funny story to tell. Here in Mexico city they have what are called Tianguis. These are basically a bunch of tents in a row where people sell stuff out in the middle of the street. Every week me and my companion go to these to buy ties. One time as we were walking through these shops a women passed by me who had a beard! it was very big but I was stunned for a moment and stared a little. Thankfully my companion got me moving again before things got to weird. haha.
I also want to note that in one month I have been able to go from having only 5 ties too having 18. I think this is pretty impressive and can´t wait to see how many I get at the peak of my mission.
Anyway I am happy that you are all doing well and wish I had more to write about. Maybe next week! haha
